Kooypunt Business Park (Den Helder)
The Kooypunt Business Park is situated on the south side of Den Helder. It offers opportunities for large-scale industry and commercial enterprises. The area development plan has space for all manner of business activities. Den Helder is renowned for offshore oil and gas activities and also offers opportunities for offshore wind.
Its proximity to the sea port, airport and the North Holland Canal make it a functional and multimodal transport hub. Currently, 6 hectares are immediately available and there are plans to extend the business park.
The municipality of Den Helder is being redeveloped. A substantial works project is underway to create a new city centre with additional housing and shops. The sea port is also being improved and extended, and there are plans for more educational and leisure facilities.
